Introduction
Stakeholder engagement is an integral component of the Kenya Revenue Authority's (KRA's) work in tax administration in Kenya. In execution of its mandate, KRA recognizes the diversity of its stakeholders and hence seeks to ensure that their interests and concerns are taken into consideration in decision-making.
The Authority conducts stakeholder engagement for a variety of reasons, and the purpose of engagement ranges from relationship development and capacity building to public participation in informing decision-making.

Citizen Assembly
Your Voice in Action
Citizen Assembly is a structured public engagement platform that brings taxpayers, business communities and citizens into direct conversation with KRA on tax compliance and service delivery. The programme supports open dialogue, listening, issue identification and collaborative service improvement.
Insights gathered through these engagements are helping to shape process simplification, digital transformation and more responsive service delivery at KRA.
Public Participation & Feedback
KRA is currently inviting public, professional and stakeholder input on draft regulations developed on behalf of the Cabinet Secretary, the National Treasury, in accordance with the Statutory Instruments Act, Cap. 2A, and Article 201 of the Constitution.
1. The draft Income Tax (Residential Rental Income Tax) Regulations, 2026.
2. The draft Income Tax (Set Off Tax Rebate for Graduate Apprenticeships) Regulations, 2026.
Interested members of the public, professionals and stakeholders are invited to submit their inputs and comments for consideration in finalising these Regulations. Submissions should be addressed to the Commissioner General, Kenya Revenue Authority, P.O Box 48240-00100, Nairobi or sent by email to stakeholder.engagement@kra.go.ke on or before 25th May, 2026.
International Partnerships & Programmes
KRA works with development partners, peer institutions and strategic stakeholders to support international collaboration, knowledge exchange, benchmarking and capacity development. These programmes strengthen learning, foster institutional partnerships and support more responsive service delivery.
