Kenya Revenue Authority would like to notify the Public of the introduction of the Presumptive Tax which comes into effect on 1st January, 2019.
The tax is payable by persons who are issued or liable to be issued with a business permit or trade license by County Governments and whose turnover from business does not exceed five million shillings during a year of income. KRA invites members of the Public and interested stakeholders to attend sensitisation forums as follows:
