Job Summary
This job holder will be accountable for:
- The development and enhancement of IFMIS to meet users expectations in terms of reports including ad-hocs,
- Leading integration initiatives with other PFM systems.
Operational Responsibilities
- Functional analysis of Oracle E-Business Suite.
- New and existing Personalization/Customization/Designing Oracle Forms and Reports and supporting the existing reports by one on site developer based on ?Function Design Document ? Customization (MD.50)? developed by Functional Consultants and approved by The National Treasury for development.
- Develop and deploy XML reports. Converting existing customized Oracle Reports to Oracle XML reports.
- Developing ?Technical Design Document ? Customization (MD.70)? post development of the identified custom objects for The National Treasury to review
- New or existing development of customizations ? workflow, procedure, SQL, PL/SQL
- Implement and maintain the integrations between Oracle and other Applications. Support and improve on the encryption and decryption solution between Central Bank of Kenya and IFMIS.
- Provide user training and documentation to super users and technical team on new and existing customizations (how to use).
- Knowledge Transfer to The National Treasury Super Users and Technical Team through sharing of documentation and on-site training.
- Any modification to the existing customized reports OR Modifications to the existing developed and new interfaces (integrations)
- New request from The National Treasury for development of Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Alert, Form Personalization, SQL, PL/SQL, Java etc.
- Support and enhancements of the various integrations and interfaces.
- Support of SOA, enhancing of existing and any new integrations that may be required.
- Be able to define, create new, schedule and work with multiple concurrent programs
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills
Academic qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software engineering or an equivalent from a recognised institution.
Professional qualification
Certifications in Oracle XML Publisher, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA) or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Functional Certifications.
Level of knowledge applied to the job
Knowledge in Oracle Modules, Java, OA Framework and Oracle Development Tools
