The Supervisor, Research & Surveys reports to the Assistant Manager, Research & Surveys.
Job Summary
The jobholder shall be responsible for the implementation the research agenda, prepare revenue forecasting reports, tax gap analysis reports and estimate revenue risks for purposes of planning and undertake survey activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Undertake revenue modelling and forecasting function to determine the revenue
- Evaluate the revenue impact of tax policy and administrative
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on tax modelling and provide technical
- Develop, update and maintain relevant tax models.
- Support the activities of the macro working group, the EARATC and other stakeholders.
- Provide inputs for the preparation and implementation of the research
- Undertake applied research that supports business departments in fulfilling their
- Execute surveys, including designing data collection tools and managing fieldwork.
- Conduct advanced data analysis to support business decision-making.
Persons Specifications
For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Economics and/or Statistics.
- Membership of relevant professional body is an added advantage
- At least 3 years relevant work experience.
