The Supervisor – Domestic Taxes Projects/ Customs Project Portfolio reports to the Assistant Manager, Domestic Taxes Projects/ Customs Project Portfolio.
Job Summary
The jobholder shall be responsible for day to day projects delivery of Customs and or Domestic taxes digital transformation projects.
Duties and responsibilities
- Manage documentations, scheduling, report preparations and maintenance of projects reports.
- Monitor, track & report project progress, milestones, deliverables, and generate status updates.
- Identify potential project risks or issues and develop solutions and/or mitigation strategies and Makes operational decisions related to project tracking, risk mitigation, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Influences project outcomes through timely updates and effective collaboration with user departments.
- Key Stakeholder project management and ensure smooth coordination of projects team.
Person specifications
For appointment to this job, the candidate must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with IT systems, data management, business process improvements or customer experience processes.
- Training in Project Management (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2, PMP) tax administration is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in a similar role.
