Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) reminds manufacturers and importers of excisable products that pursuant to the public notice of 30th November 2021 on “Roll-Out of New Generation of Excise Stamps”, KRA commenced the roll-out of the new generation of excise stamps in three phases as follows:
Wines, Spirits, Ready To Drink, Beer and Other Tobacco Products |
From 6th December 2021 |
Water, Soft Drinks and Juices |
From 28th December 2021 |
Tobacco Products and Keg Beer |
From 1st February 2022 |
Manufacturers and importers of excisable goods are reminded to return any unused old generation excise stamps to KRA. The cut-off date for utilizing the old generation excise stamps and the deadline for returning the old generation excise stamps is indicated below:
