PAYMENT OF TRANSIT TOLL THROUGH THE BANKS

Kenya Revenue Authority wishes to notify the general public that payment of transit toll will now be made through the banks and not at designated toll stations.

All transit toll fees payable at Mariakani, Athi River and Gilgil transit toll stations will now be paid to the National Bank of Kenya or Co-operative Bank of Kenya. Assessment of toll fees payable will be done on Form F147 at the Port of Mombasa prior to departure and payment made against the F147 to the bank. Payment slips should be presented to Customs at the toll stations for clearance of the transit cargo.

KRA wishes to advise the public that payment of toll fees will no longer be accepted at the Customs transit offices.
