PAYE REMITTANCE

DUE DATE THURSDAY 5TH APRIL 2007.

Kenya Revenue Authority would like to remind Employers who have not made their PAYE remittances that the Due Date for PAYE remittance is the ninth (9th) day after the Payroll Month.   However, Monday 9th April, 2007 will be a holiday (Easter - Monday), and Friday 6th April, 2007 will also be a holiday (Good - Friday).  The Due Date for the payroll month of March is therefore Thursday 5th April, 2007.

Payments should be made to Paymaster General – Income Tax Account No. 05-010-0056.

Any delay in the payment of this tax attracts heavy penalties.
