SUSPENSION OF SIMBA PASSWORDS - 24 November

Kenya Revenue Authority wishes to notify members of the Public that it has noticed a rising trend where Customs Clearing and Forwarding agents register entries with the Customs Services Department but delay payments after authorization. This leads to port congestion, inefficient use of manpower, delayed revenue and higher cost to importers due to unnecessary demurrage costs.

The Commissioner for Customs Services would like to notify members of the public that the passwords of the following clearing and forwarding companies have been suspended from the Simba 2005 System for failure to account for such entries, which remain outstanding to date:
