What you need to know

Kenya Revenue Authority would like to bring to the attention of the public the following offences which are punishable under the Traffic Act

• Possession of and driving motor vehicles which are not registered.
• Possession of and driving vehicles without valid numberplates or using fake ones.
• Possession of driving vehicles which are unroadworthy
• Possession of and driving vehicles without valid motor vehicle licenses or using fake ones.
• Driving of vehicles without valid driver's licenses.
• Driving of motor vehicles with counterfeit/ fake driving licenses.
• Driving of motor vehicles with fraudulently altered driving licenses
• Driving of motor vehicles of classes not authorized in driving licenses
• Evasion of payment of fees and taxes arising from use of vehicles without licenses or with counterfeit ones
